Trump’s “Contract with the American Voter” What It Means to You!

We The People-Part II

Image result for we the people

Below are the 28 Contractual Items that Trump laid out today (October 22, 2016) at Gettysburg.  (The were copied from Breitbart’s coverage of todays event and can be found at the link shown in Hat Tips below.)

This is the first time a real commitment has been put down in contractual form since Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with American” in 1994.  Trump’s list is considerably longer than that of Gingrich but then again the Washington Global Elitist, Democrat and Republican, have created many more problems since 1994!

Below each item are my comments regarding each point.  Trump’s items will require several paths to be followed depending on the item.  Either an Amendment to the US Constitution, Congressional Approval, or Execution Action will be required.  The Constitutional Amendments may take some time but the only way to ensure that key issues cannot be tampered with by future Presidents and Congresses.  Many of Trump’s items will make Congress squirm more than just a little.  The key thing to remember that all of his remedies are allowed within the Constitution from a strict constructionist sense.  That makes a Republican RINO in Congress squirm even more!!!

One other takeaway from these 28 contract item is the genius of Trump picking Mike Pence as a running mate.  Trump needs a solid ally working with Congress, on both sides of the aisle, to get these items through Congress.  Some will require a Herculean effort on the part of Pence and the Congressional leadership but a Trump election is a signal to Congress that the People are Now Back In Charge!  Plus, Trump, is a great spokesperson for his agenda and will not hesitate to take to the airwaves to help Pence heel Congress!  Should be fun to watch!

“Contract with the American Voter”

  1. Propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress

    1. Constitutional Amendment: If Congress will not initiate, Trump can call on the Governors and their legislature to initiate the process of establishing term limits similar to the 1947, 22nd Amendment that limited the Presidency to two four-year terms.  Constitutional Amendments are not easy to process and pass but they can be done.  The last amendment was passed in 1992.  In the past, Trump has talked about limiting Senators to two terms, 12 years total, and members of Congress will be to 6, 2 year terms for a total of 12 years.  The details will be negotiated but I would hope that the plan for term limits put forth by Mark R. Levin would serve as the model.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  2. Institute a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health)

    1. Executive Order or Congressional Action:  Trump could issue an Executive Order to implement the hiring freeze and limits.  This has been done in the past by various Presidents regardless of what you will hear in the MSM.  If Ryan and McConnell understand the mood of the country, they should volunteer to push through legislation.  Don’t hold your breath!

  3. Require for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated.

    1. Executive Order or Congressional Action:  Trump will most like use an executive order to enforce this limit but once again, if Congress has any sense of the American voter, they should act in concert with Trump.

  4. Institute a five year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service

    1. Executive Order AND Congressional Action:  Trump can require all White House staff and appointees to agree to not becoming lobbyist after they leave government service.  Congress will have to enact similar legislation to limit their own members and staff.  If Congress refuses to act, all members of the House and those members of the Senate that are up for re-election in 2018 would be held accountable.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  5. Create a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

    1. Executive Order:  Trump can require all White House staff and appointees to agree to not becoming lobbying on behalf of a foreign government after they leave government service.  This is slightly different from being an actual lobbyist so it is a necessary distinction.

  6. Institute a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections.

    1. Congressional Action:  Trump will engage Congress to pass a law prohibiting foreign lobbyist raising money for US elections.  This would include money funneled through unions, PACS, or private foundations, like the Clinton Foundation.  There is no reason to allow foreign agents to help fund campaigns or efforts in this country.  We give up our very sovereignty when we do.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  7. Announce intention to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal under Article 2205.

    1. Executive Order:  Trump can renegotiate NAFTA on his own and withdraw if necessary under Article 2205 which simply reads, “A Party may withdraw from this Agreement six months after it provides written notice of withdrawal to the other Parties. If a Party withdraws, the Agreement shall remain in force for the remaining Parties.”  Finally a government document you can read!  Trump will not need Congress to approve or disapprove.  There will have to be serious tariff discussions and other details between the US, Mexico and Canada if this comes to fruition!

  8. Announce withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

    1. Executive Order:  TPP has not be submitted to the Senate for ratification by Obama and probably would not be taken up if it were at this point.  Trump would just have to announce his intention that the US will not participate in further discussions to approve this agreement.  Presumably Trump would engage in negotiations with the individual nations regarding trade and avoid ceding authority over the US by an international arbitration agency.

  9. Direct Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator.

    1. Executive Order:  This will trigger a series of discussions within the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding China’s actions.  Other nations, possibly including the US, may get pulled into scrutiny.  But, it will put the world on notice that this practice of de facto tariffs on competitive goods will not be tolerated by the US.

  10. Direct the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trading abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use every tool under American and international law to end those abuses immediately.

    1. Executive Order:  Similar to labeling China a currency manipulator, discovering and adjudicating trade abuses will require intense scrutiny and a great deal of negotiation and possible legal action.  Between the two items, Trump will be sending a message that business as usual is over with the US.  Reaction will certainly be interesting!

  11. Lift the restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars’ worth of job-producing American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas and clean coal.

    1. Executive Action and Possible Congressional Action:  This will probably be the biggest boost to the US economy long-term of any of Trump’s proposals.  I am hedging my bets in how this can be accomplished as there may be laws on the books regulating these activities.  If what Trump attempts to do has not been limited by Congress in the past, then he can probably push forward on his own as Obama did in strangling our energy industries.  The offshoot of lifting these limits will yield lower energy prices, really put OPEC in a bad position in trying to regulate oil prices, create a lot of jobs directly and in support of these industries.  Since oil prices are relatively low, less costly exploration will go forward prior to an all out assault by the energy industry.  The coal states will see an immediate boost in employment and revenues.  I would like to see Trump add a “rebate” for taxpayers as our energy windfalls create additional revenues.  He should also earmark a percentage of gains to reducing the national debt!

  12. Lift the Obama-Clinton roadblocks and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward.

    1. Executive Order:  Part of #11 above.  This will help assure our Northern Partner, Canada, that the US values their energy partnership and start to build a North American Energy partnership with Mexico being included.  More jobs, less pollution, and more revenue!

  13. Cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America’s water and environmental infrastructure.

    1. Executive Order:  Trump should sick Ambassador John Bolton on this one plus a review of all funding of the UN by the US.  The UN has grabbed onto the climate change fiasco in order to redistribute money to themselves and whoever they want to prop up.  I wish I could believe that global warming was real and that the waters around Manhattan would rise and swallow up the UN building!

  14. Cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama.

    1. Executive Order:  Trump may have carpel tunnel syndrome by the time he signs all of the Un-Executive Orders!  This will save billions of dollars as well as reduce the power of many federal agencies and bureaucracies.  He should go back to 1992 to make sure that Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II don’t have any “stinkers” in the pile!

  15. Begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

    1. Submission of a Supreme Court Nominee to the Senate:  This should be a quick action item for Trump.  It will be interesting how the Senate Republicans react!  The Democrats will fight to block any of the 20 but McConnell has to stand up and fight back.  If the Republican lose the Senate, then Trump will have to fight in the court of public opinion to get his appointments through the Senate’s barbaric process.

  16. Cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities.

    1. Executive Order and Maybe some Congressional Action:  Much of the funding through federal agencies to States, Cities and Counties can be cut off via executive order.  If there are any Congressional funding mechanisms on the books, Congress would have to vote for a rider allowing the President to cut off funds if he deemed the agency to be a “sanctuary” haven for illegal aliens.  As an Ex-California Mayor, I fought for this back in the 1970’s when this nonsense of sanctuary cities started.  Gov. Brown of California will fight tooth and nail on this one as he was a strong proponent of sanctuary cities in the 1970’s!  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  17. Begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back.

    1. Executive Action:  The laws are already on the books for removing illegal aliens, especially those who have committed felonies in the US, and sending them back to their home country.  I doubt that foreign countries will refuse to take back their “citizens” when facing the loss of foreign aid, visas and trade.  Trump and the US is in a strong position on this item.

  18. Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.

    1. Executive Order:  Trump can use an executive order to suspend immigration and direct Homeland Security to create and enforce safe vetting procedures.  Suspension of immigration from specific areas have been done by many administrations in the past including Obama/Clinton when they suspended immigration from IRAQ!

  19. Work with Congress on a Middle Class Tax Relief And Simplification Act; an economic plan designed to grow the economy 4% per year and create at least 25 million new jobs through massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. The largest tax reductions are for the middle class. A middle-class family with 2 children will get a 35% tax cut. The current number of brackets will be reduced from 7 to 3, and tax forms will likewise be greatly simplified. The business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent, and the trillions of dollars of American corporate money overseas can now be brought back at a 10 percent rate.

    1. Congressional Action:  This will not be a quick fix for Trump.  It took Reagan quite a while to get his tax program somewhat through Congress.  Congress uses the tax code to pay off their donors so there will be more pigs in this blanket than with any other proposal.  The sooner this is enacted, that faster the economy can start to turn around and revenue start to flow.  In the end, if the Republican can keep even a marginal majority in the House and Senate, this can be attached to a budget bill and passed with a majority in both houses.  If Congress fails to act on Trump’s proposal, the 2018 elections will be bloody.  Trump will be campaigning for or against Congress depending on if they support his Tax Plan!  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  20. Work with Congress on an End The Offshoring Act Establishes tariffs to discourage companies from laying off their workers in order to relocate in other countries and ship their products back to the U.S. tax-free.

    1. Congressional Action:  One would think that this would be a no brainer for Congress but this is at the heart of Progressive Globalism.  This Act encourages our companies to produce goods in low wage countries and does not punish them for laying off American Workers.  This is part of Trump’s overall strategy of bring back American manufacturing and preventing it from leaving in the future.  You would think that our labor unions would be behind this and indeed the workers are.  But the union leadership in charge of money laundering campaign contributions for Democrats are not.  If Congress fails to act on Trump’s proposal, the 2018 elections will be bloody on this one as well.  Trump will be campaigning for or against Congress depending on if they support his repeal of this act!  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  21. Work with Congress on an American Energy & Infrastructure Act; Leverages public-private partnerships, and private investments through tax incentives, to spur $1 trillion in infrastructure investment over 10 years. It is revenue neutral.

    1. Congressional Action:  This plan would partner private and public funding of needed energy and infrastructure projects to allow us to build up our roads, airports, bridges etc.  This is not like Obama’s stimulus as it creates a “bond” type of funding for these projects rather than drag down on the US Treasury.  Once again, the Porkers in Congress love this kind of legislation so it will remain to be seen if Trump comes out with a pure form of his proposal.  Once again 2018 may be an impetus for Congress to act!  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  22. Work with Congress on a School Choice And Education Opportunity Act; redirects education dollars to gives parents the right to send their kid to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. Ends common core, brings education supervision to local communities. It expands vocational and technical education, and make 2 and 4-year college more affordable.

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  Many of the required changes can be driven through the Department of Education via executive orders.  Congress will have to pass enabling legislation to redirect Common Core programs as well as for the proposed school choice provisions.  Many vocational programs exist and should reviewed for relevance.  Some of these may be retooled with additional Congressional approval required.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  23. Work with Congress on a Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act; fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  Trump can use executive orders where authorized to tweak down Obamacare while Congress works on repealing and replacing Obamacare.  This will be an ugly Congressional fight and the Republican will not fight dirty with their own rules in order to accomplish the repeal.  Ryan and McConnell will be on the hot seat for this now as they can’t use the Presidency as their scapegoat.  They will know that they are not facing a veto now for acting!  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  24. Work with Congress on an Affordable Childcare and Eldercare Act; allows Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes, incentivize employers to provide on-side childcare services, and creates tax-free Dependent Care Savings Accounts for both young and elderly dependents, with matching contributions for low-income families.

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  Some of the funding to start some of the programs can be redirected via executive orders.  But some of the substantive changes will require Congressional action.  As many of these are tied to the tax code, some can be appended to the budget and other tax code changes.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  25. Work with Congress on an End Illegal Immigration Act; fully-funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall; establishes a 2-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the U.S. after a previous deportation, and a 5-year mandatory minimum for illegally re-entering for those with felony convictions, multiple misdemeanor convictions or two or more prior deportations; also reforms visa rules to enhance penalties for over-staying and to ensure open jobs are offered to American workers first.

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  Trump can re-prioritize current laws and funding to push through much of this via executive orders.  Congress may have to add appropriations and to modify federal sentencing standards and guidelines.  Most of the Visa provisions can be enacted by Trump via executive orders as well.  The balance will have to be worked out with Congress and Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  26. Work with Congress on a Restoring Community Safety Act; reduces surging crime, drugs and violence by creating a Task Force On Violent Crime and increasing funding for programs that train and assist local police; increases resources for federal law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors to dismantle criminal gangs and put violent offenders behind bars.

    1. Executive Orders and Congressional Action:  Much of the needed funding can be pushed through the Department of Justice once that SWAMP is drained.  Community block grants and other funding mechanism could be enacted via Congress to insure quick improvement can be made at the LOCAL level.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  27. Work with Congress on a Restoring National Security Act; rebuilds our military by eliminating the defense sequester and expanding military investment; provides Veterans with the ability to receive public VA treatment or attend the private doctor of their choice; protects our vital infrastructure from cyber-attack; establishes new screening procedures for immigration to ensure those who are admitted to our country support our people and our values

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  This is a big undertaking and will probably be done in steps with some via executive orders and some with legislation.  Congress will have to work with Trump on the budget to restore military funding.  A lot of the veteran aid can be done through executive orders using existing legislation and some legislative tweaking.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

  28. Work with Congress on a Clean up Corruption in Washington Act;  enacts new ethics reforms to Drain the Swamp and reduce the corrupting influence of special interests on our politics.

    1. Executive Order and Congressional Action:  The Washing DC swamp is pretty big and deep so draining the swamp will require multiple approaches.  Trump can clean up the bureaucracy within Federal agencies pretty much through executive orders.  The swampy Congress will have to clean up their own swamp under the loving guidance of Trump and the pesky voters!  This will be fun to watch as Trump will undoubtedly appoint a “Super-Swamp-Monitor” to help drain the swamps!  2018 Elections will also be on Trump’s side.  Pence will be instrumental in shepherding the legislative needs.

Well, Trump laid out his contract to you, from him.  It is up to you to go out and vote for yourself by voting for Trump/Pence on November 8th!

We The People, OR, We the Elitist Global Establishment

We the Elitist

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”

Ronald Reagan, March 30, 1961, Phoenix, AZ

The United States has moved far away from its founding Constitutional principles where the Federal Government was limited to only those few powers granted it by the Constitution and the States retained ALL other powers.  Today, the Federal Government intrudes into every facet of American life and the States are little more than “agencies” to carry out Federal policy and dole out the financial crumbs the Federal bureaucracy deems appropriate.

The United Kingdom’s (UK) Brexit vote was a wake up call for the United States in terms of thinking about whether we still live under a rule of law by We The People or a rule of law dictated by an Elitist, Globalist Establishment class.  In the case of the UK, the European Union’s never-ending usurping of British self determinism eventually led to the positive Brexit vote to leave the European Union.

Trump & His Supporters Stand Alone Against Globalist Elites

There are 4 major issues separating Trump and the Global Elites:

  1. Trade Agreements:  Trump trade policies focus on balanced trade between our trading partners.

    1. Currency Manipulation:  Trump is against countries manipulating their currencies to make their goods and services more affordable to their currencies at the expense of other supplying countries.  Global Elitists believe that all countries should use currency manipulation to level markets.

    2. Dollar for Dollar:  Trump believes that trade with our trading partners should be balance on a dollar for dollar basis to the largest extent possible.  Global Elitists believe that richer nations should transfer wealth from themselves to developing nations via trade imbalances.

    3. Trade Agreement Equity:  Trade agreements cannot result in companies and industries moving out of the US to our foreign partners with a net loss in jobs in the US.  Global Elitists believe that developed nations should export their companies and industries to underdeveloped nations in order to level the global playing field.

    4. No Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) Provisions:  This provision transfers jurisdiction out of our Constitutionally  lawful US courts to an international court or tribunal for dispute resolution.  If one of our businesses is thought have violated its agreement with a foreign company, the foreign company can go to this foreign jurisdiction for adjudication.  Trump would require that these types of resolution be subject to US laws and courts.  Today, the proposed, Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the existing NAFTA, World Trade Organization Agreements, and the Energy Charter Treaty, to name a few, have ISDS provisions.  Global Elitists have forced ISDS onto America and the West in search of  “FAIRNESS”.

    5. Energy:  Trump believes that the US should pursue an independent energy policy.  Global Elitists push Global Warming and wealth redistribution based on developed nations subsidizing developing nations via capital redistribution.

  2. Immigration:

    1. Open Borders:  Trump does not believe in Open Borders and supports enforcement of immigration laws and physical control over the border.  Global Elitists believe in Open Borders and in fact immigrants have a right to inhabit more affluent nations to share in the wealth.

    2. Refugees:  Trump believes that refugees can only be admitted when a thorough and effective vetting process can be constructed and applied.  Further, that refugees should be resettled as close as possible to their homes so they can be repatriated as soon as conditions allow.  Global Elitists believe that refugee immigration should be encouraged to immigrate to affluent nations to allow the refugees to share in their new nation’s wealth.

    3. Visa Programs:  Trump believes that Visa programs need to be reviewed and visa programs should be balanced against US unemployment and underemployment.  The levels of Visa immigration would restricted in support of US workers.  Global Elitists believe that all Western nations should allow for unfettered Visa immigration.

  3. Foreign Policy:

    1. America First:  Trump believes that the US should intervene only when it is in America’s best interest and that we should not engage in regime change or nation building.  Elitist Globalist believe that the US should intervene whenever international or even regional interests would be served with regime change and resulting nation building.

    2. Iranian Region Manipulation:  Trump believes that the Iranian Nuclear agreement should be abandoned and re-negotiated to ensure that Iran remain non-nuclear.  Global Elitists believe that Iran should be made powerful, with nuclear capabilities, to counter balance Israel and Pakistan, and to create a Shia Syria-Iraq-Iran axis.

  4. Sovereignty:

    1. America First:  Trump’s entire approach to governance is America First.  American sovereignty and self-determination is the cornerstone to his platform.  Global Elitists believe that a One World Government is the goal and the shackling of the US is the first step toward this goal.

    2. NATO & the UN (and others):  Trump believes that all of our treaties and associated participation in regional and global organizations must be reviewed to insure that America’s interests are in the forefront.  If these organizations do not promote America’s best interests, the we should renegotiate our agreements or depart from the organization.  Global Elitists believe that One World Order is the goal, period.

Standing Alone:

Republican Elite Insiders Fully Support Globalization and the Global Elite Platform

Republican insiders/establishment and self-professed conservatives support the Global Elite Platform and oppose the Trump American First Platform.  This is a long list but to list just a few:  Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, George Will, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Jeb Bush, Lindsay Graham and many others.  These people do not work against Trump because Trump is not a conservative.  They oppose Trump because he does not support Globalism and believes in America First!

We the People and Trump are fighting Republican Elitists, Democrats, Socialists, the Main Stream Media, Labor Unions, Global Industrialists, and world-wide globalists to take back America.  This is going to be hard and dirty fight.  But, our very Nation is at stake and we either take our country back and start our re-birth or stand by and watch our nation fade into the dust of history!

Trump – Facing The Real Manufacturing Crisis

We are Giving Up Our Vital Industrial Capacity to Potential Enemies!

Since 1988, there has been a steady stream of US manufacturing moving out of the United States.  These include “Industries” rather than just isolated plants within an industry.

In order to bring back jobs to this economy, Trump will have to rebuild our industrial base with core industries such as Steel, Coal, Oil, Food, and Precious Metals.  Then Trump can start to ramp up the production of goods for consumers and our military.

Steel:  US steel production has fallen 33% since 1967 while China’s steel production has increased by a factor of 57 since 1967!  US production was 115 million metric tons in 1967 and fell to only 88 million metric tons in 2015.  Conversely, China’s production in 1967 was only 14 million metric tons and in 2015 surpassed 803 million metric tons!!!  Today China produces almost 10 times more steel than the US.  China also uses their dominance in this market to drive down world prices and force other nations out of steel production.  What do you make out of steel?  Ships, planes, tanks trucks cars, and a whole host of products that are required for our military as well as for civilian applications.  If we had to ramp up building warships and other equipment needed to fight a war, we would have to import steel from China!

Great as long as we are not at war with China!

Coal:  22.6% of the world’s coal reserves are in the United States.  Russia and China follow at 14% and 12% respectively.  Coal is vital as a source of fuel and is a key component in the production of steel.  While the EPA has been cracking down on the coal industry for decades, the Obama administration has focused on coal as the major contributor in the US to “Global Warming”!

As such, even though the US has 23% of the total world coal reserves, we only produced 14% of the world’s output of coal in 2014.  Contrast this to China who produced 49% of the worlds coal in 2014.  In order to remain competitive in the world, the US must have a cheap source of energy for its various industries.

Coal has typically been used to produce low-cost fuel to generate electricity.  In 2008, coal produced 50% of the US electricity.  Today, coal only generates about 33% of the US electricity.  EPA standards have bankrupted many of the large US coal producers since 2008.  In the event of a war, we will need low-cost energy, produced in the US, to gear up and sustain a war effort.  We will also need low-cost energy to revive our economy and reinvigorate our manufacturing capacity in the US.

Oil:  In 1989, the US produced 7.6 million barrels of crude oil and consumed 17.3 million barrels of crude per day.  We produced 44% of the oil that we consumed.  Our oil consumption spiked in 2015 at 20.8 million barrels per day while our production had fallen to only 5.1 million barrels per day.  In 2013, our consumption continued high at 18.9 million barrels per day while we only produced 7.4 million barrels per day or 44% of the oil that we consumed.  The US has the oil and natural gas reserves to become self-sufficient in oil and natural gas production.  This will have to be a vital part of Trump’s manufacturing revitalization plan in order to provide a constant supply of energy, at stable prices and supply.

Even more importantly, until the Middle East and other oil-producing regions stabilize, we must not be reliant on nations who may be at odds with our national interests.  Militarily, reliance on foreign oil is dangerous and the US should do everything possible to eliminate this dependence.  Obama/Clinton have done everything they could to kill domestic production while destabilizing the Middle East and a thus a major portion of the world’s oil supply.  Geologic exploration in the US in the past decade has uncovered oil reserves that would make the US reserves the highest in the world.  The left, Obama/Hillary would have you believe that we only have 2% of the world reserves and that we “have to” move to “renewable” energy.

The Oil Scarcity Myth

Trump should create a North American Version of OPEC to Compete Internationally Against OPEC Nations.  Why Should the US be Held Hostage by Middle Eastern Dictators In Terms of Oil Prices and Oil Supply?

The Danger of Not Becoming Manufacturing and Energy Independent

Globalist Taking Down the US:  Progressives and some neocons who are committed to globalism, believe that by reducing US manufacturing capacity, the rest of the world can rise and the world will become more peaceful and the international jealousy against the US will subside.  REALLY!!  They sell this dribble by stating that US consumers will be able to benefit from lower prices as it is cheaper to make a shirt in China and ship it back to the US than it is to make that same shirt in the US in the first place.  What they don’t tell you is that they, Progressives, abetted by some neocon Republicans, have enacted labor, EPA, immigration and other regulations aimed at making US manufacturers unable to compete against countries like China!  Trump uses Carrier Air Conditioning as an example of a company moving to Mexico in order to increase their profits.  Carrier is only one of hundreds of US companies who have either moved production or ceased to exist.  GE no longer produces light bulbs in the US!

Reduction of Middle Class Purchasing Power:  The fallacy of the Progressive argument is that the US working middle class, as they lose their jobs, will be unable to afford even the cheaper shirt from China!  Oh wait!  The government will pay the middle class not to work!  Right now we have 95,000,000 people, 35% of the total US workforce, who have left the workforce and are no longer looking for jobs!  Those without jobs cannot consume at the same levels as those who are gainfully employed and this will stagnate our GDP as we are now experiencing!

Weakening of Our Military:  The Progressive Globalist see the weakening of the US military as a good thing.  They panicked when the Soviet Union fell apart leaving the US as the dominant world power.  They see a “JUST” US Military as one who is checked by a powerful enemy As such, they have allowed key US industries, such as oil, steel, and coal to erode and become uncompetitive with our global competitors.  They have allowed military troop, ship and airplane levels to fall below Pre-WWII levels leaving the US vulnerable and weak.

Trump Will Need to Rebuild the Base US industries While he Renegotiates Global Trade Deals.

The Rebuilding of the US Industries Will Also Allow The US to Strengthen Our military and Its Capabilities.

The Rebuilding of Our Infrastructure Will Require Considerable Expenditures and May Drive our National Debt Higher for a Period of Time as We Experienced During the Reagan Administration.

But, Increased US Production and Job Participation Will Drive Up Tax Revenues, Reduce Welfare Expenditures, and Allow the US to Begin to Pay Down our National Debt.

Trump is Facing a Monumental Task to Rebuild US Manufacturing and its Employment Base.

Obama, Stupid Is as Stupid Does–Is He Really Stupid or Just a Socialist?

You know in baseball, when a guy who went through high school hitting ,200, gets into the Major Leagues then his .300 for ten, years, he is really a .300 hitter!  The same is true for Obama.  He keeps doing “stupid” things for 4 straight years to drive the economy and our national security into the toilet, so is he just Stupid or a Socialist!  I truly believe that Obama is a died in the wool socialist who knows exactly what he is doing by killing our economy, our private sector, and realigning the world AGAINST our own national interest.

What bugs me the most is the republicans/RINOs and most conservative media types, keep making excuses that Obama is just not experienced and he does not understand the levers of this economy and is naive on foreign policy!  This makes me even more furious at these people who should both know better than I am at Obama.  The Republican pundits should have the guts to stand up to Obama and call a spade a spade.  Obama is no different from a rattle snake who coils up and bites anyone passing by.  The Snake is acting out of self-preservation instincts and Obama is acting out of his core Socialist beliefs.

     Obama’s Actions:

  • Creating a Socialist One World Government:
    • Put in place a self-perpetuating budget while he controlled Congress that had $1T+ deficit spending built-in.  This budget can only be changed when the Senate passes a budget.  This will only happen when Obama and Reid or both gone.  The goal is to drive up our deficits, pass money through to his allies in the unions, and drive our economy into bankruptcy so we are lowered to the level of the rest of the world.
    • Put in place a national healthcare system that is the framework for total control over the individual.  The IRS will not have direct access to your bank account with debit capabilities.  This will eliminate any choice you have as the Supreme Court has now said that Obamacare set up the precedent that the government can force you to do anything as long as it penalizes you via a tax.  Now the IRS can merely pluck the cash out of your bank account if you don’t do something the government wants you to do like buy a Chevy Volt or buy solar panels from Solindra at twice the price.
    • The 15 member board deciding everything related to healthcare can decide who gets coverage and who does not;  What kind of care will be available to which groups; they can dictate beyond the Constitution as evidenced by the recent forced coverage for abortifacients, abortions and sterilization; they can set the budget for Medicare and Medicaid and CONGRESS CANNOT OVERRIDE their “recommendations”.
    • Has Nationalized 2/3 of the domestic auto makers; put such stringent controls on the Banking system that banks won’t lend to the private sector but will only buy US Securities in order to avoid the government from deeming them insolvent.  The final step will be a nationalization of the Banking Industry which is around the corner after he is re-elected.  The Fed and the Treasury are merely waiting until the constraints of a re-election are not longer a hindrance.
    • Has eliminated energy development on Federal and State lands and is working on using the EPA and Department of Interior to stop domestic production on private lands.  The goal being to bleed this country dry of the very fuel needed to drive your private sector economy and weaken this nation so it is on par with the rest of the world.
    • Freddy and Fannie are bankrupt and Obama and Bernanke will nationalize these two entities and own virtually all of the conforming mortgages across the US.  He has already Nationalized the Student Loan program and look what great shape that is in.  The goal will be to control your mortgage so you are at his mercy just to stay in your home.  Oh, but he will be a benevolent dictator, just trust him with 4 more years.
    • Then on the international scene, he is aiding and abetting Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood to take over Libya, Syria, Egypt and ultimately others in the Middle East with the final goal to be the destruction of Israel.  You don’t think so?  Well, the radical arm of the Palestinian Government is Hamas.  Hamas is a MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD offshoot!  Now that the MB controls Egypt and Palestine, what is to stop another Arab-Israeli war from breaking out!  Nothing!  Obama and the global socialist want the entire world to be held hostage in terms of oil supply and only Islamic Radicals, Russia and fellow socialists in South America and the far east would control the world energy.  This will certainly flatten the world into a nice one world socialist haven.

So, when you hear your favor TV anchor or talk show host or author making excuses for Obama’s ignorance, stand up and tell them they are dead wrong.  Obama is a socialist and is intent on giving our nation for the good of the world at our expense.  Wake Up, there is only 100 days or so to freedom or complete domination.

Gasoline Prices-Oil Companies Vs Consumers-Obama’s Class Warfare

Average Government Taxes on One Gallon of Gasoline:  $0.481/gallon

(This is a national average for taxes.  In Connecticut it is $0.68, New York $0.679, California $0.67)

Oil Company Profits on One Gallon of Gasoline:  $0.07/gallon  (US Operations)

Who is Gouging US!  You got it, Our Government!

Below is information that we posted back in May of 2011.  All of the data is still applicable and some has been updated:

Oil Companies:

I had a Progressive friend who said to me one time that companies had to have a “corporate conscience” when it came to profits and how they act as a “citizen” of a country.  After staring at him for about 10 minutes and calming down considerably, knowing that he was big in the stock market, I asked him, “As a stockholder, what would you do if you owned Exxon stock, and you heard the Chairman of Exxon announce that the company was going to drop oil prices by $40 Billion dollars so they could reduce gas prices at the pump by 20 cents a gallon, and oh by the way, the $40 billion is coming out of what was going to be stockholders dividends!”  He said he would file a class action suit against the company for driving down the stockholder’s share value!  So much for “corporate conscience”!

Big Oil Company profits are large in terms of raw dollars due to the shear size and volume of their gross income.  In reality, Big Oil Companies percent of profits are less than 1/4 that of Microsoft and Apple.  But, Idealogues in Washington and others point to the raw dollar profits instead.  Companies live and die by profits but let’s see just where the money goes.

Q1/2010:  ExxonMobil net profit:  $10.65B

Q1/2010:  ExxonMobil Income Taxes:  $8.0B

Q1/2010:  ExxonMobil Capital Investment:  $7.8B

GENERAL ELECTRIC, A DARLING OF OBAMA HAD A NET PROFIT OF OVER $5B AND PAID ZERO US INCOME TAXES!  In fact, has almost a half a billion in tax credits.

Q1/2011:  Current Profits Per Gallon of Gasoline:

ExxonMobil:  $0.07/gallon  (US Operations)

Local, State and Federal Gas Taxes:  $0.481/gallon

Taxes are 7 times higher than Big Oil Profits per Gallon!

Now, wonder why Washington and the Community Organizer in Chief needs a scape goat?  Who is gouging the consumer?  It gets worse.

Who is limiting the supply of domestic gas and oil.  Come on, guess!  You are right, Washington DC.  Who is killing nuclear development in the US?  You are right, Washington DC.  What is Washington DC doing?  They are going after speculators!

Speculators are watched us bomb Libya, one of the largest oil producers in the world; they are worried about the Nut Jobs in Iran who we have utterly failed to control over the past 12 years; we are ignoring pleas from Saudi Arabia, the largest oil producer, to help quell uprising all over the oil-producing Middle East and North Africa and help to re-establish a stable environment; and now we face a very real threat from world-wide small acts of terror from Al Qaeda with the death of Bin Laden and the ridiculous Koran Burning incident in Afghanistan for which we are apologizing.  All of these external pressures will keep oil prices up as speculators are betting that oil is going to get harder to extract and supply lines will be disrupted.  Would you bet right now that the world is getting more or less peaceful?  Less = Higher commodity prices, period!

At the same time, the US is printing money and raising its debt by leaps and bounds driving the dollar into the financial commode.  This will raise oil prices as well.  The only thing putting downward pressure in oil prices is our government’s incompetence in dealing with the recession that is driving down demand due to more and more Americans fleeing to public assistance due to loss of jobs and opportunities.

Do I feel sorry for Big Oil and Speculators?   No but I don’t blame them for our woes either.  The blame is squarely in the District of Columbia

  • Maybe drilling won’t solve all of our problems but let’s see just how close to self-sufficiency we can get!
  • Maybe Shale is not the answer but let’s give it a shot and see if that helps lower our foreign energy dependence.
  • Maybe build a 20 more refineries so when we have to take one offline for maintenance there is not a 15 cent per gallon spike.
  • Take a shot at building local smaller and more stable nuclear reactors.
  • Open Yucca Mountain to store spent fuel rods rather than leaving them and us exposed by having to store them in less safe environments.

If I was an oil company executive, I would pre-book a flight to Washington DC every 6 months or so to accommodate my semi-annual invitation to testify before congress or the justice department.  2011 will be no exception!  In addition to those nasty OIL COMPANIES who must be investigated and demonized, those nasty SPECULATORS are also bad people who are only looking to stick it to the consumers and they must be investigated and intimidated as well.  Do I like paying $4.50 for Regular Gas?  Hell No!  but do I blame the oil companies or the speculators?  Hell No!  I look in the mirror and say to myself, “YOU JERK, YOU SEND THESE MORONS TO WASHINGTON!  YOU ARE AS MUCH TO BLAME AS ANYONE!”

Oil is not the only commodity that is demanding a high price; STUPIDITY is actually outpacing the price of crude oil!  Most of the latter is above ground in Washington DC and is cornered by about 536 Congressmen and the President of the United States.  Can we take a deep breath; purge our minds of the insane sound bites from the media and the politicians; and examine two key scapegoats of high gasoline prices?

Speculators Bashing:

Speculators are made up of investment consortiums, individuals, and assorted investors.  All commodities such as oil/gasoline are traded on various exchanges via futures contracts or spot market positions.  Trades are two-sided; for every person buying a contract, someone else is selling a contract.  When there are more buyers than sellers, the buyers “bid up” the price of the contact and the commodity price goes up.  When there are more sellers than buyers, the opposite takes place.  Buyers and sellers are the same, they are neither good or bad.  They are trying to make money either by selling for more than they paid for a commodity or selling short and hoping that the market goes down.  In short, speculators make markets.  Without speculators, there is no market and stock markets, currency markets and commodity markets would cease to exist and we would be back to local bartering.

Why are Speculators always put up on the Demon Pedestal?  Because they are easy, nondescript bogey men and women.  They don’t exist, you can’t see them; touch them; and their business cards don’t carry the title of “Speculator”.  Politicians always use strawmen to point the finger away from themselves.  This administration takes this to an art form worthy of the great masters.   The bottom line is that speculators cannot directly influence the production of a commodity; directly impact the delivery of a commodity; directly expand the supply of a commodity; directly influence geopolitical events that can impact the price of one or more commodities.  Speculators merely sit on the sidelines and try to guess what the impact will be on the commodity prices from such events.  They, in short, make the market based on external events that they do not control.

2008-SPECULATORS REDUCE RETAIL GAS PRICES

FROM $4.12/GAL TO $1.61/GAL IN 4 MONTHS!

This is absolutely true!  Speculators were the ones that sold down futures until they reduced gasoline prices by $2.51 per gallon.  Were they invited to Washington DC to have Congress marvel at how they were able to reduce the prices so fast and so much?  NOPE!  But Congress was out on a witch hunt 4-6 months earlier trying to find those dirty SOB speculators who were driving gasoline prices up to $4.12/gal!  Did Congress or the President go on TV and praise speculators for their humanitarian efforts to reduce gas prices?  NOPE!

In short, get the government out of our energy lives so we can live our lives.  Remember some of these facts the next time Obama takes on the Oil Companies.  Or the next time he want to eliminate legitimate tax deductions that oil companies take.  Who do you really think is going to pay the $4B expense deductions Obama is going to eliminate from the oil companies.  Yep.  Look in the Mirror Sucker…  You have been politicized and bamboozled again by a politician.  Class warfare is how they win.  Oil Companies today, drug industry tomorrow, when is it going to be your turn?  It will happen and sooner than you think.

Wake up America

Obama Gas Price Is Costing you $90.00 Extra/Mo–B of A Debit Card Charge was $5.00?

Bad Guys, B of A or Your Government ?

Currently, US gas price average is $3.41 per gallon today and rising.  When Obama was inaugurated, gas prices were $1.62 per gallon.  If your car gets 25 MPG and you drive 1,250 miles per month, you are spending more than $90.00 per month MORE than you would have in 2009.

But, we let the Democrats and Obama demonize Bank of American, which I have a whole host of issues with, because they wanted to charge us $5.00 per month for using their Debit Card!  That is a $85.00 difference and we are complaining about the wrong demon.  The demons are in Washington DC!

Now, oil prices are “quietly” creeping back up and will soon hit $4.00 gallon again.  This is at a time when Obama killed the building of the new trans Canada pipeline that would have increased our North America supply by over 5% of our daily usage.  This may not sound like much but it is a start.

What will gas prices, let alone oil availability be when Israel bomb Iran?  Bet on it, Obama will blame Israel if gas prices go up.

I don’t mean to give B of A a pass as they and their banking cohorts are the topic for many more articles.  But, we need to focus and quit knee jerking every time the government points to a “villain” and cries foul.  My grandmother had a saying when someone obviously “broke wind” then cried foul.  She used to say, “the fox to find her is close behind her!”  Meaning, that when Obama breaks wind and blames the banks, the drug companies, you, me, Big Macs, or Sister Theresa, remember, the stink is close behind Obama.  He and his merry band of Progressives are ripping this country apart at the seams then pointing their finger at everyone else but themselves.

Any why we are on abuse, I wish Michelle Obama would keep her uninformed opinions on food to herself.  If her husband had any kind of a coherent energy and water policy, we could quit burning our food via ethanol, bring fallow lands back into production, and start actually producing better food for ourselves and the world.

Solyndra & Green Energy–Why Aren’t We Using Our Existing Energy Labs? Politics Anyone?

We have been bombarded with horror stories about Solyndra and other “green energy” companies that our government has wasted billions on trying to crate an energy source that is not ready for prime time, at least in terms of replacing fossil fuels.  Obama may “wish” for his green energy to replace fossil fuels but in my lifetime this is simply not feasible.  This is especially true when the left has removed nuclear as an option in the arsenal to replace fossil fuels.

But, no one is asking; “Why we aren’t we tasking our existing “pure science” labs, Lawrence Livermore, the Jet Propulsion Lab, and the Los Alamos Lab, to apply some of the best minds we have on this earth to develop solar or other technologies that may prove productive in the quest to eventually replace fossil fuels?”

After all, it was JPL who took the original work on solar energy that started back in the 1860’s, then was refined by Bell Labs and others in the 1950’s, and created modern solar power sources for satellites using Space Based Solar Power.  It is the Lawrence Livermore Lab who developed the latest energy creation invention using laser technology (NIF, National Ignition Facility).  All of these labs have demonstrated capabilities to delve into pure science endeavors and create out of the box solutions.

Why are we giving billions away trying to force feed a technology that is not ready for prime time.  Politics.  The left’s drive to eliminate fossil fuels from the face of this earth depends on selling the world on green energy.  But, if they want any chance to succeed, they should look inward and turn our own labs free to work on developing new energy sources that may or may not include solar.  This is a typical government response to a problem.  Develop the answer than hope for a solution.  Maybe our HOPE should CHANGE into utilizing the best resources we have at our fingertips, our own labs.  BTW, the labs are “managed” (poorly) by the Department of Energy who is giving way billions in grants and loans and who made the deal with Solyndra…In spite of the DOE involvement, the labs manage to createsome incredible solutions…

Eliminating Camel Poop to Save the Planet! What a Concept

The entire planet is melting down financially and the Progressive Wing Nuts are out in force.  The Australian Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency is proposing that CARBON CREDITS be given TO ANYONE KILLING CAMELS in the outback.  This group of wing nuts claims that the feral Camels produce one ton of carbon dioxide per year each, making them, and I quote, “collectively one of Australia’s major emitters of greenhouse gases”.  This entire insane policy is being wrapped in a larger “Carbon Farming Initiative” down under.

Here is an idea, WHY DON’T WE PUT THOSE BUREAUCRATS OUT IN THE OUTBACK SHOVELING CAMEL DUNG SO THE REST OF US CAN COME UP WITH WAYS TO SAVE THIS PLANET ECONOMICALLY.  It won’t matter what you do to help, or not, the environment if we all starve to death which is the ultimate goal of the Progressive Wing Nuts.  Without human beings, there won’t be anyone left to disrupt the ecology of this planet and maybe if we are gone, the Camels can come back and continue to poop!

How much longer are we as rational human beings going to put up with this POOP from our local, state, federal and global governments and their insane Climate Change Bureaucrats?

WE are running out of time…

Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad May Set our Oil Supply/Price! What Are We Doing?

Arguably the biggest nut-job on the face of this earth, rivaled only by Charlie Sheen and Colonel Gaddafi, may be in charge of our gas price destiny!  WOW, THAT IS REALLY GOOD NEWS!  This is due to Iran currently holding the Presidency of OPEC and Ahmadinejad is forcing their normal representative to the back of the bus.  Also, who is going to represent Libya?  Their Oil Minister has left for Tunisia!  Guess he didn’t like us bombing him!  So, the two biggest OPEC political rivals, Saudi Arabia, who is not all the keen on us anymore after Obama snubbed them repeatedly, and Iran are going to square off at the next OPEC conference on June 8th in Vienna.  Any bets on the outcome?  Do you think we will be better off?

In the absence of any coherent foreign policy by the US, these nut jobs all over the world will dictate our future.  Obama’s “Leading From Behind” policy is seen as inane by those who like us and a great opportunity by those that don’t.  So far the “Arab Spring” has cost us the support of Tunisia, Egypt, the alienation of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and other key middle east nations.  Many are being taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood who Obama’s chief intelligence officer does not see as any real threat!

I guess this administration thinks it is safe since none of us can afford the gas to drive to Washington DC and protest!  In fact, with food prices going up so fast, even if we did, we would starve to death after we arrived!

It is sad to watch years of hard work, building this country to the point where it could be the protector and benefactor to the world, only to see it ripped apart by idealogues who wish to destroy the greatness of the United States and what it has stood for.  In its wake will emerge such moral giants as Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and an Islamic Egypt.  Welcome to Obama’s new world order….

Global Warming – Lose-Lose in the Next Supreme Court Case

American Electric Power Co., Inc. v. Connecticut

The Supreme Court will have to decide whether States or Private Parties can sue Power Companies / Utilities for contributing to Global Warming.  When the Supreme court decided in Massachusetts v. EPA that carbon dioxide is a POLLUTANT and the EPA thus has the right to regulate carbon dioxide emissions under the clean air act, the Court set the stage for all kinds of wacko suits against any industry the emits a single molecule of carbon dioxide in the course of their business.  This leaves power companies especially vulnerable and thus its customers, you, to goofy lawsuits not only by the EPA but potentially by every wacko State Government and Environmental wacko.

American Electric Power Co strangely has the Federal Government on its side in this suit because Obama want the control over carbon dioxide all to himself.  The irony is that this case is a lose-lose for us, the taxpayers and customers of utilities.  Either way our power suppliers will get hit with fees, law suits, etc and our utility bills will continue to climb.  Gas prices are now $4.50 in California and elsewhere, how about doubling your electric, natural gas, propane and heating oil bills?  The Government or the other wackos will blame the dirty hydrocarbon industries for polluting our air and for causing climate change, not sure if it is supposed to be warming or cooling now.

Sadly, the Supreme Court decided Massachusetts v. EPA based when the substance of the case was clearly outside of the purvue of the court.  The court could not possibly establish a clear connection between Carbon Dioxide and Global Warming as it was not even settled science.  Clearly the court jumped the gun.  Now we are only left with whether the federal government will have sole reign over killing our hydrocarbon based energy sources or whether they will have to share this lunacy with States or other wackos.

One poor decision always leads to another, and another, and…
