Oxford “Ethics” Group: Babies are “Morally Irrelevant”– OK to Engage in “After-Birth Abortion”

AND, Kathleen Sebelius (aka Queen of Death) Told Congress that a “Reduction in the Number of Human Beings” is a COST CONTAINMENT GOAL OF OBAMACARE!  Gee, I wonder how she and Obama plan to achieve this reduction?  Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) incredibly stated to the Queen of Death, “So you are saying, by not having babies born, we are going to save money on health care.”  Sebelius responded; “The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for cost of contraception,” The poor Congressman was shell-shocked at this point and summarized the Queen of Deaths position to be; “Not having babies born is a critical benefit. This is absolutely amazing to me. I yield back.”

After Birth Abortion:  Wow, how did we get to this point to where we have a group of brilliant thinkers at the prestigious Oxford University, publishing an article in the Journal of Medical Ethics, touting the killing of babies after they are born as being acceptable and actually preferable.  The article was titled; After-birth abortion: Why should the baby live?”.  That pretty much says it all.  This group of Progressive wackos actually formulated their conclusion around the following quote:  (please read carefully as this could be applied to us old folks as well)

“The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.”

So, if the aborting of “fetuses”, unborn children, is morally OK, then the killing of a baby after birth is also OK.  This is actually a very short step away from then State Senator Obama’s support for killing babies that “survived” an attempted abortion!

Reading further into these wackos creed you will be treated to their nutty logic:

“Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life’.

“We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her.”  (Not sure if they are singling out females or not)

“…what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled”.

Then the tie in with the Queen of Death, Kathleen Sebelius:

“To bring up such children might be an unbearable burden on the family and on society as a whole, when the state economically provides for their care.”

So now we have the “ethical” argument for reducing Healthcare costs by killing BABIES WHO HAVE BEEN BORN!  How long do you think it will be before Seniors are considered as an Unbearable Burden.  How about the handicapped?  How about those with long-term illnesses like MS, ALS, Diabetes, and on and on.  If the decision is made by Progressives like Obama and the Queen of Death, there is no limit.
